Breezing solo on the Warwick Farm turf on a Good 4 track, she showcased her natural speed and athleticism.
Highly rated by our performance data software and beautifully prepared by Hunter’s Lodge, she ticked the boxes throughout our selection process. Her physical qualities, pedigree and breeze-up made her a standout on our shortlist.
A PEDIGREE PACKED WITH QUALITY
By champion sire ZOUSTAR, this filly combines elite Australian speed with a strong female family full of Stakes performers.
Zoustar’s Group 1-winning daughters include Joliestar, Climbing Star and Zougotcha, highlighting his outstanding record with fillies and mares.
Her dam, TORYJOY, was a talented and durable performer, winning five races from 1300m to 1800m and earning $539,465 in prize money. She also earned valuable black type when third in the Listed Brisbane Handicap.
By influential broodmare sire STREET CRY, Toryjoy is a half-sister to Listed South Pacific Classic winner LANDING and ALMASHOOQA, who finished runner-up in the Group 1 Greyville Golden Slipper.
The quality continues through her granddam, JOY OF FLIGHT, a nine-time winner whose victories included the Group 3 Tesio Stakes and Listed Centaurea Trophy. She produced seven winners from nine foals.
The wider family also includes Group 1 WATC Derby winner GRAND JOURNEY and Group 1 Galaxy winner GRIANTE, providing further depth to an impressive pedigree.
