A Champion Pedigree

Maurice—widely regarded as the best Japanese racehorse ever to stand at stud outside Japan—has already proven himself as a leading sire. His impressive progeny include six Group 1 winners, such as the Australian Triple Classic winner Hitotsu and sensational sprinter Mazu. In the 2022/23 season, Maurice was crowned Champion Third Season Sire in Australia and finished in the top dozen active Australian sires, with $10.7 million in earnings.

Her dam, Mystic Empire, is a speedy mare with Group-level success, adding speed and class to this filly's pedigree. Her 2nd dam, Empress Wu, is a half-sister to Royal Descent, a Group 1 winner, and The Warrior Woman, dam of the talented Solidify. Meanwhile, her 3rd dam, Mulan Princess, was a six-time winner, including the G2 Hill Stakes, and earned over $327,000.
