Adrien’s journey in horse racing has been both diverse and international, combining a lifelong passion for the sport with experience gained across multiple continents and sectors of the industry.

He began his career in 2006 at the prestigious Le Moulin à Vent racing school in Chantilly, France, where several of his classmates would later rise to the highest level of the sport, including Flavien Prat, Mickael Barzalona, and Ryan Curatolo. During this period, Adrien trained under respected French horsemen, including François-Xavier de Chevigny and Guillaume Macaire, one of the most successful jumps trainers in French racing history.

After beginning his career in flat racing, Adrien successfully transitioned to jumps racing and rode for Guillaume Macaire before retiring from race riding following a series of injuries. His time in both disciplines provided him with a broad understanding of racehorse development, training, and performance at the highest level.

His next move took him to the legendary Mikel Delzangles, known for his success in Australia with Dunaden in the Melbourne and Caulfield Cups. Eager to expand his expertise, Adrien broadened his horizons internationally, joining Christophe Clement Racing in the United States, where he worked at Belmont Park, Saratoga Springs, and Payson Park. During his time there, he rode champion horses, including Draw Glory, owned by Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. He worked with stars like My Conquestadory and Noble Bird, who both competed in prestigious races like the Breeders' Cup and the inaugural $12M Pegasus World Cup.

Adrien’s global journey continued in Australia, where he worked with leading trainers including Anthony & Sam Freedman, Chris Waller, Peter Moody, Ciaron Maher, James Cummings at Godolphin, and Danny O’Brien. His work with horses like Brazen Beau, Amicus, Foreteller, El Patroness, and Callsign Mav further cemented his reputation in the racing world.

In addition to his racing career, Adrien has accumulated over nine years of experience in the luxury goods and high-end jewelry industry, working as a manager with renowned institutions like Christian Louboutin, Paspaley Pearls, and Versace Melbourne. This background in luxury retail has honed his ability to provide exceptional customer service and attention to detail, which he now applies to his clients at Starblue Consultancy.
